an astronomer who spends his time near-obsessively charting the stars. The stars function as living creatures, he is incredibly fascinated by this. He is also a very talented astrologer. His copious amount of fieldwork makes him well-known in his field, even though he much rather prefer to remain a hermit in his observatory which he lives in. 

Eris is the bearer of an unfortunate curse, his shadow has a separate conscious from him and is able to interact with the absence of light. Along his hands are markings seemingly vanta-black, completely overtaken by the shadow that acts like a possessive spirit- Eris it's vessel.
