Kateb is a young storyteller. He's taking the Hunter's Exam to gain access to his deceased friend's journals. Contents 1 Appearance AppearanceKateb is a young boy of small stature with dark skin and silver hair. He wears an orange shawl, brown pants, and black boots. Most noticeably, he wears a black mask over his mouth and nose which is embroidered with gold flowers. All of his clothes are trimmed or decorated with repeating patterns. Under his shawl, he wears a black tank top, embroidered with gold leaves, and his knapsack where he keeps his journals. PersonalityKateb is a young boy lost in his own daydreams. He often envisions himself as one of the protagonists of his adventure stories, to the point that it often gets him in trouble, such as entering into the Hunter's Exam wildly unprepared. He's a kind boy, blindly trusting of most people. He loves making friends, and luckily he has more allies than enemies. He is whimsical and gets lost in his own mind easily. Kateb can also be meddling. He likes joking around with his friends and pranking people with his ability. Although this has gotten him in trouble in the past, he's still just a young kid who likes being silly and having fun. PlotTBA Abilities & PowersKateb has all the benefits granted to him with his Hunter's license. He has rarely been seen using his Nen and other abilities in combat settings. During the Hunter's Exam, he often stood behind other fighters who valiantly protected him. As a Story Hunter, he still rarely finds himself in combat situations and tends to use his powers more for meddling and jokes. Eavesdropping: Kateb, due to his age and history, is a great listener, even when he doesn't want to. Because of this, he makes a great spy. Childhood Innocence: More than once, Kateb has gotten out of sticky situations simply because his opponent didn't want to fight such a young kid. Stellar Stamina: Because of his life spent as a vagabond, Kateb can walks for days and night on end before feeling tired. He also seems to eat and drink less frequently than others. Language Excellence: One of Kateb's most unique skills is his ability to learn new languages in the extremely short amount of time. In the Turf War arc, he's seen reading one of Pachi Pokka's cousin's books, despite never having read her language before. Trickster: Growing up a vagabond, Kateb is well-versed in tricking people in games. This is a favorite method of winning challenges. NenKateb's Nen type is Manipulator. He likes to manipulate people and their actions by use of his journals. He incorperates his skills as a writer and storyteller into his techniques.
EquipmentNotebooks: Kateb carries around an array of notebooks to record different stories and ideas. His big notebook contains his life story, which he updates every day. He also uses these to communicate. BattlesTBA Trivia:
