Shadowcaster

One of the older dragons within the city of Stormhome, and by far one of the most twisted. She is reclusive in nature, seldom seen in public. No one can remember the last time she expressed any kind of genuine emotion, and the sound of her calm yet disturbing voice can render an entire room silent.

Shadowcaster considers herself to be a doctor, and a rather good one at that. To a degree, she's right: in the most dire of situations, she's your best bet at survival. However, her methods are still questionable. Shadowcaster has a notable addiction to experimentation, and an insatiable sense of curiosity, one that she will stop at nothing to pursue. As a result, her "treatments" can easily turn into disasters, having the potential to completely ruin or even end the lives of her patients. Her assistant, Stranger, is suspected to be an unfortunate victim of her medical cruelty, given his abnormal silence and actions that can be defined as near mechanical.

Though she no longer has any friends or family present in the lair, it used to be said that she wasn't always like she is now. In fact, Shadowcaster was supposedly quite the extrovert, her defining traits being her loud voice, her fast pace of speaking, and her strong sense of empathy. The change in her had been sudden - one day she was the same, and the next, she was cold and unfeeling. What brought about this change in personality is unknown, but her sibling, Soulseeker (who left the lair a long time ago), suspected it to be the work of a curse of some sort.

It should be noted that her name is not without meaning: she is an enormous dragon, towering over many of the dragons in the lair. In fact, Shadowcaster has been identified as the largest dragon in Stormhome as of currently.
