Personality: Haunt is a malicious creature that lives off the twisted souls it consumes. Haunt sees their consumption of people with those emotions as a mercy, because of the experience the being originally came from was one of those same emotions, and who would want to live with that? It's taking of the person's soul is giving them a refuge within them as a way to let out those emotions. by taking it out on the next to-be soul. They hate authority of any kind and it's hard to faze Haunt as they consist of many different personality traits. They often struggle to remember things or focus one one subject or task, instead flitting around on whatever current notion they have. The X's on their body are made by themselves, which are scratched in for every soul they take. Souls eventually fade away as the dark energy consumes them, leaving Haunt only with a faint memory of said souls, which is why they must continue their feeding cycles. Souls do not retain human-level intelligence and instead become merged with the dark energy to create a unstable flurry of emotional muddled being, basically Haunt. They don't have a set identity, though the traits tehy take from their darkness are never-changing.

Bio: Haunt is a creature originally made from dark energy and the souls of those tortured by an evil kingdom long past, and now the souls of those it consumes. It seeks out those with intense or extreme emotions of fear, hopelessness, pain, or despair.  It has a base-level intelligence and cannot comprehend the different between right or wrong on it's own. For some reason, it never hurts children. It does love to mess around though, and will mess with it's prey in times of excitement or adrenaline, not giving their victims a peaceful kind of death. Haunt's mouth pieces can each move separately, and it will speak with different voices often. They use their front claws like a praying mantis, striking at their victim. They hate bright light of any kind, being made of dark energy, and cannot fly with their wings, instead gliding. They can see heat, and their yellow-orange-red parts will glow softly in moonlight.
