Born the eldest out of two, Rhowan unintentionally grew up in a spotlight that had been made by his parents.

With the ability to manipulate and create bolts of plasma and electricity, Rhowan was tasked with training and learning how to control his powers at a young age. His little brother, however, had been left to watch from afar. Ungifted and not blessed with the same abilities that Rhowan had. Regardless, Rhowan had still tried to include his younger sibling in his day-to-day life. Encouraging his brother to come along with him to explore and play, as they grew older a clear barrier began to form between the two and, try as he might, there simply didn't seem to be anything that Rhowan could do to please his younger brother.

It was something he soon came to accept, yet still tried. That became impossible, however, the day Rhowan's brother decided to take things into his own hands. By means outside of Rhowan's understanding, his younger brother finally acquired his own magic and created an extremist group set on changing the ways they had grown up with. Rhowan, much to his dismay, couldn't let his brother carry on such a plan. So, in a painful bolt of lightning, he struck his brother down and left him for dead.

It had filled him with pain to do so, and as punishment Rhowan isolated himself in the land of D'Qara. Refusing to use his magic from that day on, he helped and listened to those he could without it. This kindness of his is what has led him to fall into the company of another lost soul. Together they found themselves whisked away through one of the many portals that had become more common in D'Qara.Rhowan losing his magic along the way.

Whether he wishes to find his way back or not, Rhowan couldn't yet decide, but one thing for certain: he was glad to be free of his magic.

The sky is breathing, tonight. Can you hear it? How the constellations flicker, shouting, follow me, darling, I'll save you from the wreckage.
