Dreameater is known far and wide as the de facto leader of the 'Institute of Evil', a group of adapted individuals who consistently cause chaos worldwide. Not much about Dreameater is known on a personal level, however, it is said that it is his cunning and charisma that has caused the Institute's numbers to grow over the past few years.
Few know of Aisling. With no known family and a childhood of being passed from caretaker to caretaker, she has few roots. To the places she frequents in the present day, she's seen as a kind enough, but enigmatic patron. This anonymity works well for her, allowing her to continue her work without prying eyes.

Summary
As a child, Aisling was taken in by a facility dedicated to raising children who had been abandoned. Even at a young age, Aisling was quick to discover that things within the facility didn't add up, and she uncovered a horrific plot. Her attempt to escape along with her closest friend was foiled, and she was sent away. Quickly finding that adults wouldn't listen to the panicked words of an abandoned child, Aisling decided that she would just have to fix the world herself.
Charismatic and with an understanding of pain that comes only from those who live with it, Aisling easily climbed her way up the ranks of the Institute of Evil - an organisation that, despite the name, exists to challenge public conceptions of Adaptations. Aisling, herself, uses her Adaptation of dream-walking to uncover her rivals subconscious thoughts, using this information to manipulate them and ensure that everything proceeds according to her plans.
Aisling's primary goal is to improve life for other Adapted people, and she will go to any length to achieve this goal. It takes a lot to truly win her trust, but she is unconditionally loyal to those who make it there.

Orella
Childhood friend. Inseperable as children, but when Aisling was sent away from the facility they weren't allowed to stay in contact. Aisling's drive to protect others comes from being unable to protect Orella, and hoping that her actions will one day reach her.
Layla
Close friend. Aisling met Layla as a directionless teenager and helped her to move on from an abusive relationship. Layla is one of few who sees Aisling for who she really is, and is unafraid to call her out when she goes too far.
Luna
Protégé. Aisling took interest in Luna's actions as 'Moonbow', and recruited her into the Institute. Aisling sees great worth in Luna, and has ideas for how she falls in to her plans.
