A nurse who'd just graduated with her degree and was initially happy to get a job. She was brimming with excitement and energy to finally have her dream job, only to figure out that a certain someone else has the same job as her. It wouldn't really be an issue if it was anyone else. Lily still had her job, after all. It just so happened to turn out that her new coworker was a highly advanced robot programmed to do essentially the same tasks that she took years to learn. It kind struck a cord with her. Especially since she'd initially dropped out of nursing school early in her 20s due to hard circumstances that had popped up, only to realize that she wasn't happy doing office work to put food on the table. Lily's pretty bitter about this, and has developed a kind of spiteful overachiever attitude to impress the hospital. She takes long, grueling hours that leave her exhausted and terminally agitated with everything around her. Not because she has to, she volunteers for these hours, only because she wants to be more useful than this robot.
Personality wise, Lily is very abrasive. Almost entirely because of her imagined rivalry with this robot. Developing quite the short fuse over the short few months she's been working there. Many just assume it's been the stress of the job that's wearing her thin. Despite this, she tries her best to make it a pleasant experience for her patients- she has no intention of upsetting them. On her days off she lightens up a lot, almost enough to be reminiscent of how she was before being more caring and empathetic to those around her. She loves being around people and does, in fact, care deeply about the safety of those around her. It just takes her a hot second to warm up to people. She can be quite the chatterbox when she wants to be!
