Arguably, they are more well known for their spinoffs, such as Bonifacio: Red Pepper, the actual fighting game side-series. There are also oh so many party games, and even some RPGS, though they tend to focus on the side characters, like Ven.

The actual relationship between Bon and Ven has never been made particularly clear. In the original manual it seems to suggest they are perhaps, lovers, but this was completely omitted in localisation. Their more modern adaptations tend to dodge the question, simply having them share... What could be read as simply a close platonic bond. Some localisations go so far as to make them siblings, muddying waters further. Do not discuss this with their fandom. Do not do it.
