in the land of Nazhir, the great desert nation that is ever expanding, scorpion tails are seen as a curse and those who have it as desert fiends, a danger to all. Legend says that these beasts come from women drinking scorpion blood while pregnant. Add to that his strange horns and dark markings (piebaldism but reverse, splotches of melanism, yes that is a thing that animals can have) and he grew up put down and pushed away. However, he didn't let it hold him back, instead turning a curse into a strength! He has the power of scorpion poison, determination and protagonist vibes!
