Aguta

About: Aguta is a werewolf who lives in a small cluttered cabin in the far north. A weaver of magic and brewer of elixers, she is equally feared and respected. It's rumored she eats lost children, and can steal away entire herd of caribou overnight. It is also said she rarely reverts to her human form, and is fearful of people for casting her out decades ago. Her potions are famous for their healing properties, but thanks to her reputation the villages near by keep their distance. Occasionally a situation will become dire enough to brave her council, and some will travel far and wide to attempt trading with the short-tempered werewolf for her life-saving brews. 

Personality: Stubborn, grumpy, cold and concentrated. Aguta is the definition of "all bark and no bite". Her harsh words and demeanor betray her warm heart. She'd never admit it, but she enjoys having guests. Her favorite past time is sharing stories. If you come to her with a good tale or clever riddle and manage to crack a smile out of her, you may leave her cabin with more than just your remedy. She's eager to share her smoked salmon, elk jerky, rare herbs and fine teas to respectful visitors. Once you adjust to her abrasiveness, she's actually quite a good hostess.

✦ Her life-based magic takes the form of the northern lights, and she uses it to grow and tend to her plants, which otherwise could not survive in the tundra.

✦ While Aguta enjoys occasional company, she has been on the receiving end of enough witch hunts to stay far away from society, and prefers to keep her reputation savage so she can have peace.
