【 PERSONALITY 】

Bask is purely non-confrontational. If he's in a one-on-one fight, he will either sweet the other with his charismatic abilities; manipulating them with a subtle threat; or stab them in the back (can be literally or figuratively). He's likely to talk about others behind their backs or be passive aggresive just to spite them. Inside of him, he hides some insecurities about the real him and what he's able to do, so he wears his backstabbing gentleman persona as a facade.

Despite everything, Bask isn't a totally bad person. For example, he would never steal from anyone who's actually struggling or taking care of their loved ones, at least not knowingly. Even if he's not in the mindset of making a lot of friends or being open about himself, he's full of life knowledge that he loves to share with others as stories or even honest advice. You just need to be tidy, sincere and understanding and Bask will become your ally.

【 STORY 】

EARLY LIFE

A Lone Thunder in the Clouds

Baskarash was born within other dragonborns in the Yarjerit Clan, between some wide plains between stormy skies. As bronze dragons use lightning as their breath weapon, they tend to chase storms so they can recharge and be full of energy for battling other clans and menaces. Bask admired his parents, both fierce fighters in the battle field, but caring figures behind their house walls.

When both of them passed after a long sickness, Bask became the underdog, since no one had the time to prepare him for battle. He had to train on himself alone and often be left out of the group for not growing up as aggresive as they were.

TEENAGE YEARS

A Spark of Knowledge

When their enemy clan attacked, Bask felt ready to battle. He was not holding back this time, his skills have definitely improved and he was in better control of his electric breath. But when he found himself surrounded by dragonborns three times his size, he couldn't do more. His clan leader got him out of the way, resulting in his defeat and inminent death. Bask was exhiled, since his inclusion would put them in danger.

Bask wandered by the wild outside, not knowing what to do, where to go, he didn' even knew how to hunt without being noticed by the wildlife. That's when he realizes he was being watched by a wealthy human lady, who was traveling to the city. She felt pity for the dragonborn and took him with her, giving him an elegant change of clothes and intensive lessons on manners. Aside from that, he learned that she was more than just a lady from high society; she was an unapologetic thief. She thaught him all the techniques and tricks to be unnoticed, she was as sly as a fox and lighter than the wind, he admired her. That's when he realized: he was not born to be a fighter; he wanted to be a thief.

ADULTHOOD

Riding the Storm

As he reached the adult age of the average dragonborn, he parted ways with the lady and went to find his own path. In just a couple of years, he became an expert in the arts of thievery, scamming multiple people with his street games and taking some bonuses like jewelry and unguarded antiques. He remains on the road to this day, knowing that no one can stand on his way of becoming disgustingly rich and prestigious.

Bask's combat style is based in backstabbing, sneaking behind others and tricking them. But in case he needs to fight you directly, he'll use his trusty twin daggers. Within his natural abilities, he uses his breath weapon of lightning as a last resource, since he feels it's too easy and takes away the fun of using his smaller abilities.
