Backstory

Juniper's early years unfolded in a remote village, perched high in the Wall of Heaven mountains. Born of a witch and a demon, her tiefling lineage occasionally cast her in a mysterious light, but those who crossed her path soon discovered her genuine kindness. Guided by the arcane wisdom bestowed by her patron, and with her loyal familiar Milo by her side, Juniper wove spells and enchantments, much like her mother.

As she grew older, Jun's curiosity led her to the nearby city-state of Kyozo, drawn by the promise of a brighter future. There, she formed new friendships and even a romantic connection, all while securing employment within the temple of her god, Yao-Nàixīn. Yet, amidst the bustling streets of Kyozo, she also became ensnared in a complex tapestry of political intrigue and warfare.

Despite the trials and tribulations, fortune smiled upon Juniper, and she and her beloved Seònaid, a gifted herbalist, eventually settled in Essian. Their peaceful days continued until an old friend's wedding lured them back to Kyozo, reuniting them with their cherished companions. It was then that things took an unexpected turn, and the group had to face their biggest hurdle yet: Abbrodrom.

Present Day

In the aftermath of their victory, Juniper ascended to the position of Mercy, the bishop of the Horseman Death, with Seònaid at her side as her devoted deacon. The couple achieved age immortality. In the present day, they relish the tranquility of their existence, bound together by both their newfound roles and the eternal warmth of their companionship.
