Anthem

Anthem is the primary protagonist of the upcoming story I'm writing. The working title of this story is Masks.

After the end of middle school, Jason and his dad moved towns to start anew. When kids and their families move, it tends to be a few short things. One has to switch friends, change schools, and well, move towns as a whole. But after a short time of adjusting, he quickly learned that those weren't the only three things that were changing. A mask was bestowed upon him, causing his physical form to be forever altered into something inhuman. On a new journey of self-rediscovery, he is forced to change names, start a new life, and join a clan of other masked people like himself...but he has other plans.
