Beryl Layton

Beryl is almost an unofficial prince of his hometown, the Everglen. There's no royal family there but his mother is the one everyone goes to with their problems and his older brother is an ambassador for the state. He's friendly with everyone and pretty level headed. The local kids all look up to him and he's kind of a big brother to them. He prefers to be busy anyway and enjoys problem solving. He can usually be seen helping older people out in town with Mint and Freya. 

Animals tend to take a shine to him and he can usually be seen with a rabbit. In combat he uses nature based magic and can take on traits of animals or magical beasts to enhance his own abilities.
