Profile
A "freak scientist fairy." OP fairy that's just such an awkward and socially unaware nerd that she can neither show off her true potential nor bring out her real abilities, just because she is a disastrous mess of a person and has no fucking sense.
Both smart and powerful, but her charisma, social skills, and adaptability are all in the toilet. She is very literally not something that should ever come out of a lab. Has no chill. Has an endless doomsday stock of potions. Minerva is a machine with a hyper-sensitive panic button. That's her character in a nutshell. She bluescreens in a heartbeat. Total penny-pincher. Her luck does occasionally hit the negatives.
She got disowned for one too many explosions in her room and for being a perpetual pain in the backside. Kind of like getting kicked out of your parents' basement. But she needed to get an official income and she was kind of already used to gathering ingredients and fighting monsters, so she figured...welp, no time like the present? Also registers with an apothecary guild since she's good with medicines, and will probably work with the merchant's guild eventually to sell her inventions, though there will have to be someone who encourages her in that direction. No one's ever really praised her for her tinkering. Most fairies are very anti-technology, so no matter what she produced and what good it could do, she was just flat-out rejected.
Right Eye: Infinite Memory Circuit
Left Eye: AutoTarget Circuit
Both Ears: Keen Ear Circuit
Both Shoulders: Shield Circuits
Both Feet: Swift Circuits
Shoulders and Back: Unbreakable Strength Circuit
Item: Charisma Circuit Microphone
An earring-based microphone that activates a special Circuit Circle. Commands relayed through this circle, in combination with the target's true name, will force compliance from the target. The length of compliance depends on the difference between the user's Charisma compared to their target. On average, the best Minerva can do is 3 seconds of compliance per command.
Item: Goggles
Normal goggles, but they have tiny Shield circuits etched into them to protect Minerva's face from her many experimental errors.
Item: Gloves
Rather normal gloves, but Minerva managed to add Dexterity circuits to the bands. The effect is weak, but it helps reduce mistakes while she's working.
Items: Leather Bags
They were normal leather pouches at one point, but Minerva upcycled them with a Storage Circuit. Both are now jaw-droppingly capacious Bags of Holding. One of these bags is dedicated exclusively to her Doomsday Potion Stash and enough medicine, bandages, and rare healing items to take care of a sizeable army for a few months.
Item: Thigh-length Scale Plate Guard
Her only proper piece of "armor," but it's primary function is as a quick-access panel. Each scale is etched with a basic magic circle or circuit circle that Minerva uses frequently. Several of them are for work or daily life, but a few are for emergencies and self-defense. A scale must be touched with the appropriate amount of magic and given a voice command in order to activate; it was a measure Minerva specially implemented after a few too many accidental activations...including one stray incident with a fire spell in the middle of a hayfield.
Item: Ankle Guards
Secretly backed with smaller Bags of Holding. These bags are mostly weapons and emergency rations, but they're quite small in actual capacity. Minerva regrets the design she gave them, because they're a bother when she walks unless she's walking on tip-toe. It was fine when she flew everywhere, but now that she's trying to act like a human, the shape is giving her trouble. Is greatly considering reforging them, but needs to gather a few materials first since she'll have to destroy the current Storage Circuit and remake it from scratch in the process.
After Minerva removes the seal of obedience on Ahi and hears about his dream to bring equality to races like his, one could say Ahi becomes the egg of a god — Minerva is determined to grant his dream with every circuit and circle she has as a one-woman legion with the utmost dedication.
