About
- Name: Dean Dolor
- Nickname/s: Dee, Depression
- Gender: Cis Male
- Pronouns: He/him
- Orientation: Heteroromantic Graysexual
- Birthday: ???
LITERALLY the humanoid personification of clinical depression. While he's actually a very cheerful, clueless dipshit of a man, he is sure to make you feel miserable, by casually discussing real world disasters and grim news like fun trivia with no notice.
He is sad, sulky, and insecure, don't get me wrong, but he comes across more like a happy-go-lucky numbskull with a minimal understanding of conversational or physical boundaries, more often than not - barring his spells of visible melancholy, and refusal to eat.
Dean's cubicle used to be situated next to Ida's. He would hang around her way too much for her liking, and would make small talk about exclusively horrible things. He truly thought he was friends with her, and he was also mean, but he seemed to misguidedly think that was just what friends do. He was moved in the office when the project he had to work with Ida on was wrapped up, and the two don't talk as much anymore (Ida avoiding him as much as possible), but he still shows up at her cubicle sometimes, and will "coincidentally" end up in the same place she and Mira go. He is genuinely worried about them drifting apart, as Ida is one of the few people he's ever felt close to. He has no idea that feeling is far from mutual.
Appearance
- Height: 6"0
- Build: Thin and gawky
- Eye Color: Blue with yellow sclera
- Hair Color: Black
- Species: Construct
- Ethnicity: Melancholic
Dee has pale, slightly blue skin, navy hair and freckles, red eyebags, and vivid blue eyes. His teeth and sclera are yellowish. He's very skinny, but tends to wear massively oversized sweaters that obscure his form.
Relationships
He's the office nuisance, and everyone hates him. Absolutely does not understand personal space, boundaries, or what's appropriate to talk about or not. He's not malevolent, just violently stupid. He's actually quite lonely and doesn't know what's wrong with him :(( he wants to make friends very badly, he's just... bad at it. In part because no one has ever deemed him smart enough to explain it to, or capable of any true goodness.
