Simultaneously exists as a 1700's Frenchman, and a 2010's Texan due to a fracture in the space time continuum. This version, the French one, is a small, scrappy, heavily malnourished man with an unusual face and build due to genetic disorders that wouldn't be understood for at least a few hundred more years. As such, he has lived a life of isolation and mistreatment, and comes across as extremely withdrawn and apathetic - seeming to lack any and all force or drive. He's actually incredible determined and introspective, and deeply craves meaningful human contact.

Barring a much more deteriorated health, and diminished stature, Auguste looks very similar to his alternate timeline self, even choosing to wear his hair in mostly the same style. The main difference, if unable to compare heights, is that the Frenchman oftentimes appears perplexed and concerned, and will stand with his hands drawn up to his chest, trying to avoid the notice of others. The Southerner is abrasive and loud, in order to scare people off, and often appears disgruntled or smug.

Both of them are putting on some sort of act to dodge the ire of less understanding people, but will both melt if given any kindness or attention. The Frenchman in particular is clingy, and will seek out physical affection to feel secure. If he considers you safe, he can usually be found wrapped around the arm or sitting as close as he's allowed to whoever it is he trusts.
