Askar Finripper

Askar Finripper here is a Starfisher; some folks might look at her and think; here's a big, lazy lump, blubbering up the ocean.

Anyone who KNOWS Askar will know she's quite strong, and a very skilled  fighter, especially underwater. She's clumsier on land because  Starfisher feet are less suited for ground locomotion, but if she can  get a good lunge and grapple in, you're in trouble.

That said, she's an excellent hugger, if you're lucky enough to find her affections.

Askar has more or less let herself float away from the Starfisher  community she grew up in, much preferring to make her home in the shady  lagoon of a remote (though not deserted) island, called Hanebulu. It  took her a little bit to figure out how to make friends with  land-dwellers and not just impulsively drag them into the water  (thankfully she hasn't drowned any locals). Rather enjoying not having  to fight for status and respect; she still indulges in wrestling matches  with anyone willing to take her up on a challenge, and has even made  herself a mud-pit to make it interesting.

The locals do find this entertaining and many a drunken fool has been  convinced into her ring. She rarely loses but on the rare occasions  where she does, she does her best not to be a sore loser - it can be  difficult sometimes but ultimately she realises these wrestling matches  hold little significance other than the opportunity to show off one's  physical capabilities.

When she's not patrolling the surrounding reefs and oceans or helping  guide in the rare visiting sea-vessel, she enjoys teaching children how  to swim - or at least splashing around with them and making sure they're  floating properly.

She has developed a taste for a number of the local fruits and is  currently trying to grow her own little batch of trees and bushes, with  limited success.

Askar enjoys sexual relations with both men and women, with a heavier  lean towards the ladies. Finding aquatically-inclined lovers has been  challenging, but she's getting used to dry-land-lovers, if you know what  she means.

While not looking to settle down anytime soon, she considers herself quite a catch... pun intended.
