Jinsoku

Design

Appearance

Jinsoku is a cheetah and is 102 pounds and 5 foot 2. He has a messy mop of golden blond hair with a few long locks here and there. He generally keeps his hair messy, because no amount of product will keep it in place against his superspeed. He has typical black cheetah eyeliner, which helps him see in bright light and black cheetah spots. His muzzle and underbelly is a very light tint of orange and his eyes are bright orange. When running he appears as a light yellow streak. His lightning is neon orange and his lightning can be seen in his eye when he's powered up.

Background

Jinsoku grew up in a chaotic household. His mom was always out in hero work, fighting hard to be the best. She never left much time for her family and only had a child to pass down her powerful talent and family name. So her interactions with Jinso were mostly training him. His dad wasnt much better, a genius engineer working to support Lightning Fast. He never spent much time with Jin either. His parents didn't even pay enough attention to Jin's schooling; they forgot about it so Jin started first grade one year late. Everyone envied him for his mom so he started enjoying the attention and would do anything to get attention even if it meant acting up. He played hero at school, saving kids from bullies with his powerful talent only to demand a payment for saving them. Little Kuro objected to this and acted like Jin was a bully. Jin started hating Kuro and how much people liked him. this began their long rivalry.

Jinsoku kept his abrasive, attention seeking behavior through high school at SHI, where he establishes his dominance at the top of the class by tormenting everyone else in the top 5. He makes trouble and is rude for fun. His hero idol is his mom so he tries to mirror her behavior. She wasnt the best rolemodel so now Jin has a slanted view of how a good hero should act. He's overconfident, cocky, and compensating for how his parents never gave him the time of day.

Relationships

Kuro

Kuro and Jinsoku have been rivals for a long time. The rivalry is mostly on Jin's side because Kuro never held a grudge for anything Jin did in primary school. Deep down, Jin secretly envies Kuro but hides it with anger. Kuro was always more liked, had such strong morals, and did everything right and that's why Jin hated him. Jin holds onto this rivalry, leading to his first words to Kuro at SHI, "I thought you caught a disease and died."

Katsu

Katsu naturally gravitated towards Jin because he was cool and powerful. Katsu's strength and ranking make him a good addition to Jin's squad while also not being a threat. Jin only makes friends with people in the lower rankings because he doesn't view them as threats. Despite being a lone wolf, Jin's always around Katsu because at first Katsu wouldn't leave him alone and then they became friends.

Axel

Like Katsu, Jin has a lot in common with Axel. Axel's like a less edgy version of Jin. Jin likes Axel mostly for his power and flashiness. All three of them have destructive powerful talents and they're not shy about showing off. Axel genuinely likes Jin and with Katsu, they have a little friend squad, much to Jin's annoyance. Jin won't admit he likes them too. Whenever Axel's had enough of Jin, he just turns his hearing aids off.

• His mom, Lightning Fast, is the #3 hero.
• All of Jinsoku's pawpads are black, except for the main pad on his right foot, which is tan like his nose.
• Jin's hatred of Kuro is based on the natural inferiority complexes of cheetahs when compared to lions.
• Jin is the oldest in his class because he started 1st grade one year late.
• Jin's lighning is always a neon orange color.
• Jin has a service dog named Missy. It's short for Missile Launcher.
