She is best friends with Nikola and Arthur. She and Arthur have been neighbors their whole lives and though she met Nik a few times by virtue of Arthur and him being close friends, she didn’t get to really know Nikola until they became a trio in high school. When the three of them hang out, they usually take turns choosing what to do. Robin and Arthur tend to lean towards hanging out at her house or Arthur’s farm while Nikola usually has them checking out abandoned buildings or spray painting things under bridges.

Raised by her widowed single mother, Robin only has vague memories of her father from old photos. Her early childhood was comfortable and most of her days were spent playing in the fields between her and Arthur’s houses. She was always a nervous child but as she got older and started realize feeling different from the other kids her anxiety only got more apparent. When she came out as trans in middle school, her mom accepted and supported her, though being from a small town in the west made her feel really alienated and singled out often times. This led her to stick mostly to Arthur(and later Nikola), but she also found a safe haven at the local library. After graduating high school and taking a gap year to figure out what she wanted to do as a career, she eventually leaves the west to study literature. After receiving her degree, she returns home and becomes a teacher at her old middle school while working part time at the local library.
