Valentine's day is her absolute favourite holiday. Hera gets to enjoy watching others do lovely things for one another throughout the pride, and even those who might not get along at least tolerate one another on this day. In the morning she does her duties for the pride like every other day, though in a much better mood than normal knowing everyone is in a good spirit. In the afternoon she slinks off and spends her time alone sunbathing and simply enjoying the calmness. While everyone's running around trying to get gifts for one another to show appreciation, she reminds herself about the most important kind of love.
While it's important to show others how much you care, and Valentine's day is the perfect time for that, love for herself is just as important. Though she may slip up during hunts or make embarrassing mistakes from time to time, she knows that the others of the pride will support her no matter what. Valentine's day reminds her that she must also support and love herself regardless of her mistakes. And so, Hera spends her afternoon with a smile on her face under a tree. The flecks of sun shine down through the rustling leaves, and the sounds of chirping birds in the breeze.
