tok
experiment i-01
I don't trust a god who only brings "joy" to others for the sake of personal gain.
An experiment who was offered as a sacrifice to a god. Said god didn't even want a sacrifice. Some stuff happened. Now he's dating that god's son.
His healing abilities allow him to go as far as reattach a limb. He heals faster than a human, but the process isn't instant. He has to kinda hold things in place while they mend together.

• Tok was created in a lab as part of an illegal bioweapons project, combining a use of magic and technology to make superhuman clones. During a phase where different clones were being made to perfect different areas (strength, endurance, etc), Tok was the first to survive out of the Invulnerability batch (labeled experiment I-01). However, unsurprising for such an early subject, his healing was...problematic. Tok's body is unstable and unable to hold itself together, to the point his limbs would just kind of...fall off. On their own. But because his blood would continually regenerate, and he was able to reattach said limbs after the matter, he was kept to study further.
• Unbeknownst to the rest of the facility, one of the doctors involved had actually used DNA of his own, deceased son in Tok's creation. When his wife, a fellow scientist in the program, discovered this, she was disgusted and demanded that Tok (a young teen at the time) be disposed of. Desperate to fix his broken family, the doctor not only tried to dispose of Tok, but tried to offer him as a sacrifice to the god of Joy in the process. He encountered two problems: Tok only healed with every attempt he made, and the god of Joy did take notice, only to save Tok in the end and strike down the doctor. Tok was left a chance to flee, and was given his tail by Joy. To this day he doesn't know if the tail was meant to be a gift or a curse.
• Shortly after his escape he was found by Alice and Wise, who immediately recognized his tail as a link to The Garden. They took him in and would eventually form the organization Dead Rose with the goal of keeping the human realm safe from other anomalies that had come there from The Garden, the number one being hunting down the Star Crossed—human corpses infected by the star drops leaked from The Garden's fountain. When a high number of star drops begin to appear in Cheer Park, Tok is eventually sent to temporarily live there and keep an eye on the situation.
- Beauty mark to right of nose.
- Tail is segmented but moves like one appendage.
- Red markings on skin are weak points where his body is more likely to fall apart.
- The crystals on his clothes help stabilize said weak points.

The demigod who was sent to inspect the star drops appearing in Cheer Park. Come to find out his dad is the very god that gave Tok his mysterious tail. They clash on a lot of ideals, but Aphos's willingness to learn Tok's point of view has made them closer.
One of Tok's few friends that he's made since moving to Cheer Park. They're often seen hanging out at her family's diner, where the staff knows Tok's order by heart. He worries over how much she puts others before herself.
