my…grumpsona/rendition of the journalist from Bugsnax! normally I don’t like making characters based so closely to preexisting content but in this case this character is already canon so I wanted to come up with a design/backstory…because of their autism they have a habit of separating themselves from the people around them to a bit of an unhealthy degree but it made them super observant which lead to becoming a journalist. they felt uncomfortable with pretty much everyone on Snaxburg but eventually saw all the characters as the first group of real friends they ever had, and by the time Filbo moves in with them they are qpps! 

I made them black because of how the silhouette of the journalist is black I tried out the color playing the game and it felt like I was playing as one of our cats, so I also had the idea they REALLY love cats and always wore a cat ear headband with holes cut in their hat to make it look like they have cat ears, then later Floofty gave them cat ears for real >:3c 

in the world of Fluff and the Floobles, they are a creation made by Pants and Jewel like an imaginary friend which ended up coming to life. I think they’d have a very similar backstory
