A petite and portly lad interested in both historical and fantasy literature. He struggles to stand up for himself at times due to being nonconfrontational, but his optimism usually keeps him going even in the face of poor treatment. He feigns ignorance when people speak ill behind his back, and does his best to get along with everyone and never step on toes (or hooves) even when it's a lost cause, though he'll avoid the most hostile of sorts. He is easy to get along with, but you have to get through his quiet disposition to get him to open up. He has a few friends, but most of his time is spent reading instead of socializing. He speaks fluent CSL (Cervine sign language, for hooved individuals), largely due to his mother and brother being deaf and his wishes to communicate in a way they are more comfortable since lip-reading has its limitations. He cherishes his family dearly, and channels a lot of his meager income from the library back home, though they insist they don't need it. The library is very much his happy place, and he values it profoundly- though he doesn't get along with all of his coworkers well, he still tries his hardest!  He still doesn't know quite how to lean on others, but he's gradually learning to open up, especially since meeting Rannouk, his most outgoing and blunt friend.
