here, "you" means the owner of the character, "selling" refers to selling for either real or virtual currency, and "i", "me", "my" refers to the designer of the character, jackton on toyhouse.

you are allowed to use my designs in any way, such as- drawing, writing, commissioning goods for it etc.

commercial use is permitted for my designs.

you can redesign my designs however you'd like. please do keep me credited as the designer of the original design, though. you can add yourself as designer.

if you have obtained it as a freebie, you may gift it or trade it.
if you have traded a character worth money or art for it, you may gift, trade or sell it. if the character traded did not have any monetary value, you may only gift or trade it.
if you have bought the design, you may gift, trade or resell it.
you may resell it for a greater value if you have added personal art, or commissioned art to it. this includes physical and miscellanous goods featuring the design. other forms of art value such as art trades and free art depend on if the artist allows the art to add value. writing counts if the rights to it go along with the character to the next owner, or if it was commissioned.

please ask if you wish to add a design into a closed species. in the majority of cases, it'll be fine. as for making a closed species based on the design itself, ask and we can discuss.

i will not revoke the design under any circumstances. trade-backs and co-owns are at your own risk, i will not get involved with these.

i ask that you do not add any rules of your own to my designs for the next owner to follow, such as "do not change species, gender, sexuality" and the like. rules regarding resale and such are not endorsed, but if the next owner explicitly agrees to these, then it's alright.

i request that you do not use my designs for ai-generated, nft, fascist, nazi and illegal content. using my own art of the design for any of these things is a hard no.

feel free to private or auth-only the design at any time, not my business. if you're gonna delete it, simply give me a heads-up. i'm not gonna police you if you don't though, it's no longer under my ownership, after all. returning it to me is an option if you'd like to do that.

what any owners do with the design does not reflect my own personal opinions or beliefs. i do not have a blacklist as that'd be too much to maintain.
