Alec is a wreck of a human being wasting away in the subway. In times when he's not high, he works at a nearby gas station due to which he's been nicknamed Diesel. Although Alec finds the claims unture, it is rumored that he huffs gasoline in his free time. Whenever he is bored he will latch onto the first friendly soul he meets and follow them around until told otherwise, often ranting about things that bother him or complaining about the world.
Most of times tired, apathetic and withdrawn, constantly looking for a new fix. He'll take whatever he's offered just to escape the grim reality. When high he usually sits in his station corner and doesn't bother anyone or spends time outside basking in the sun. Upon his recent reconciliation with his friend Spencer, Alec often hangs out at his house instead, but he still visits the subway. Aside a limited amount of clothes, his only other posession is a cat plushie named Catnip whom he treats like a person and a friend whenever he's sad or losing his mind.
Nobody really cares about or likes him in the subway, but they don't have much problem with him either as he knows he shouldn't piss them off. He is considered a harmless annoyance at best, though Alec is convinced everybody loves him.

Alec is a nihilistic person who's given up on any goals in his life. Living day to day, having nothing to aim for, he wastes away earning minimum wage at a nearby gas station to afford basic supplies and drugs. Formely outgoing, now has considerably quieted down and locked inside himself. His sober self usually avoids people, though might hold a chat with another person if approached first or if he needs something. He's not particularly friendly towards people, having learned to live his life as a loner. Tends to be cynical and assume nobody's up to any good. It does bother him, but he doesn't think anyone will really understand him and feels heavily judged by others at all times. Alec used to have friends but he slowly stopped talking to them, feeling left behind and unwanted. He turned to drugs to cope with crippling lonelness and has been addicted ever since.

Met in the midst of their addiction as they were both living on the streets at the time and stuck together. Spencer's jail sentence separated them for a while but they've managed to meet up again. Nowadays he hangs out at Spen's house nearly all the time. Alec really enjoys Spencer's company and is closely bonded to him, as Spen is the only person who likes all of him, even if he's being mean or difficult.
