Worked on ships and oil platforms as security for years. Found an opportunity to quit his dreary line of work once the last ship he was on caught fire in an accident. Decided that now would be a good time to take up working as a hired gunsman, for at least it would be more eventful. He was right, though he can’t tell whether he likes it more or not.
