Bio:
Noticeable possessions:
- Clothes and mask
The closest things Sticks has to a “human appearance.” Filling in stolen clothes and fabrics successfully hides its true form and thus lets more approach them, but if one watches for long enough they will see the silently writhing mass holding itself upright beneath those cloths. - Wooden, knobby club
The item they own aside from the clothes on their backs. A sturdy weapon heavy enough need both hands to wield, though they prefer not to use it if possible. - Small bag on hip
A simple bag looped around their waist. It’s mostly empty, save for some pieces of gold and scraps of food they have gathered.
Relationships
- Creator
They do not fancy nor despise the one who created them, but they are not too keen on her, either. She did not mistreat them necessarily and they know this. She did, however, barely acknowledge them as anything more than the rodents she had collected. She fed them well, gave them the entire dungeon of the building for them to make themselves comfortable in, but aside from that little attention was given.
Extra Information
- Has been trained since Day One to eventually become a hulking brute for war and other large fights, but just before they could be fed enough to become the giant she desired Sticks escaped to seek a new life. Now free, they lean more towards wishing to protect and help others heal. They just are not sure how with their skills.
- They are loyal to a near fault by default thanks to their very trusting nature. They are well aware that they do not know the world around them and even more aware that they need help if they wish to explore freely.
- They get distracted easily and can often be found staring at something or someone.
- Despite how careful and attentive they try to be, sometimes they are unreasonably apathetic, but they can’t help it. They are still learning why certain things are important or require special care.
- They often find themselves confused when they see people hug.
OOC Trivia
- Sticks was a character entirely inspired by the Homebrew species, Swarm Golem, on the Dungeons and Dragons Wikia. It started with lulling around little ideas and musings on how such a race could work, then into a Special NPC for players to run into when I DM, then into a Player Character on a whim.
- Sticks’ class is a Level 6 War Hulk [very slightly modified] with a Background of Experiment, both of which found on the Dungeons and Dragons Wikia.
