Maven was once a black bird that would occasionally follow Aevre and assist her with helping lost souls. She met her end at the hands of a fox, whom Maven didn't know was one of the lost souls Aevre has saved. Tis the cycle of life, and once Aevre came across the feathers of her helper, she transformed them so her friend can continue her duty. Maven thinks it is a little ironic that her form takes after a fox instead of a beautiful black bird, but she comes to terms with it and is happy that she can continue her duty to helping lost souls. In this new form, she relies less on Aevre to help and is able to guide on her own but will always offer a helping hand when she is around. Eventually, Maven learns how to call upon the aurora borealis thanks to Aevre and uses it to bring relief and inspiration to travelers of her flowering tundra. When she is not helping lost souls, Maven enjoys being by herself and soaking in the world around her. She'll entertain company, but often with Seers. There feels to be a special connection between those who call themselves that, and herself. She has met a wonderfully large, black shimmery esk and has listened to her stories and insight. Whenever she feels this esks precense Maven gets excited and will let her aurora element slip out.
