Introduction
. . . And the new Darkling lifted his head up, staring at the night sky and the bright moon looming overhead. "Lunar," said the voice next to them; Eclipse. Looking over at the older Darkling, they noticed that he too was gazing upon the moon. "I think that's a fine name. How does it sound to you?"
There was a moment of silence until they responded, speaking through the psychic link: ' ' Because the moon has captured my interest? ' '
"Not exactly," Eclipse, who was so used to speaking aloud by now that he appeared to be talking to himself, answered in the long forgotten tongue of the Black Arms. "I believe you share some similarities to the moon, looking at it now."
' ' How so..? ' '
"Powerful yet unassuming, you loom over this sick world like an angel of death; stealing the light away from the sun and reflecting it only for the dark. You are my hope. Our hope." Throughout this interpretation, Eclipse's eyes did not leave the moon, and the other Darkling's eyes did not leave him. After another brief period of silence, Eclipse looked over and spoke up. "Do you not like it?"

About
Born to Shadow the Hedgehog’s clutch (don’t ask), Lunar was spared from the destruction of his unborn brethren. His savior, Eclipse, took it upon himself to raise him from a Death Leech and to protect him with his life. Although he’s not the strongest of the Black Arms, he makes up for it well with his intelligence and speed. Interestingly, he seems unable to vocalize any spoken language and can only produce alien-like bird calls. These calls often sound something like the screeches of a large raptor, but can vary greatly.
Because he is technically a hybrid, there are several conflicting things in his biology. Though he does enjoy meat, he may sometimes crave a varied diet that his body cannot actually process. To his detriment, he has been known to indulge from time to time. He is also almost constantly engaging in some kind of grooming to keep his feathers clean of the thick mucus layer his alien skin produces, and covers his face with his wings when slumbering to keep his non-closing third eye clean. There may be other biological issues yet discovered...
He loathes the planet he’s stuck on and takes great pleasure in making its inhabitants suffer when he can. However, he is cautious. Areas are scouted out meticulously before he gets anywhere near potential prey, and even if all seems clear, he will only attack if the skies are dark enough to retreat into safely. He is very likely to take any unfortunate victim back to his shelter alive, where him, Eclipse, and the Dark Wisps will feast together.
His personality can best be described as calm and hedonistic. He values personal pleasure above everything but his loyalty to the Black Arms. Because of this mindset, he seems less committed and focused on the future of the Black arms than Eclipse is, though all his desires align with the ultimate goals of their species. Conquest, power, and the consumption of his enemies are what mainly drives him.

Lunar is just as slimy as any other Black Arms, so he often has to groom his wings to keep them in good enough condition for flight.
His third eye lacks an eyelid and cannot close. It does not trace movement when he is unconscious and can look in a different direction from his two main eyes.
Although he can’t speak out loud, he is fully capable of understanding any language. He relies on psychic communication, which he can only initiate with other Black Arms.
The two fleshy horns atop of his head have muscles in them, and he can move them back, forward, or to the sides.
Despite his alien genes, he enjoys things that taste and smell sweet... However, eating anything sugary will cause him to void his stomach contents immediately and completely.
Attributes
Both on his feet and the ends of his wings, he is able to use these talons not only to grasp prey, but to cling onto vertical surfaces.
A powerful energy pulse released in a targeted wave. He can only make use of this twice before he needs to recharge, but one direct hit is enough to stun most prey.
His strong and prehensile tail can be used for combat, as well as strangling prey mid flight.
A sharp, screeching sound vocalized only in distress. Its specific frequency and high volume seems to be enough to disorientate most creatures with working eardrums.
Practically a powerhouse, Lunar is able to convert energy gained from food flawlessly into chaos energy. Unfortunately, he has no efficient way to store this energy. Any excess will either radiate from him or be released in a forced pulse.

[ Progenitor ]
Although the Black Arms don’t use such terms, Shadow is Lunar’s biological father. When the young Darkling was still just an egg, most of his siblings were destroyed in their father’s blind panic. Lunar is aware of this, and was further taught to fear Shadow and stay far away by Eclipse. For all he knows, this progenitor of his would kill him on sight.
[ Ally ]
Lunar trusts Eclipse and will normally believe any word he says. If the Black Arms had family structures like Mobians/Humans, he might view Eclipse as a father figure. As it stands, they look out for each other and cooperate well, especially when it comes to hunting. Eclipse guides him on the best opportunities to snatch a meal, and Lunar uses his swift speed and power of flight to capture prey with little to no risk.
[ Brother ]
The (long lost?) sibling of Lunar. Once he got hint that there was another survivor, he set off to find them immediately, only to end up thoroughly confused by their ways. Naturally curious and with an enhanced bond to his brother, he would try his best to understand them. Although they may have been born and trapped on the same planet together, it will become clear that these two come from vastly different worlds...
