Nul is one of the taller performers of the circus, standing at 6'4"- they're a dark-skinned person spending plenty of their time outside and in the sun, but otherwise, in general, they're genetically dark-skinned. Their frame isn't muscular or athletic in any sort- much rather, they're thin and lengthy, the majority of them are made up of their long legs that don't have muscle. Regarding the clarity of their skin? They'd said that their skin is prone to acne and scarring from acne, especially in more hot and humid climates- Nul doesn't have other noticeable features other than their acne.
Their facial features are very bland, the main reason being as you never see the lower part of their face, they normally cover it with a filtering mask. Yet nothing spectacular is under there- it is a person with acne scarring with reddish marks on their face from wearing the mask over long durations of time. Though the parts that do peak overlook cunning and well put together- contrasting their lower face. Dark brown eyes pear over their mask, their irises being pitch black with hints of the brown, jaw-length hair sits atop of their head- their hair is a mix of waves and straight hair.
Their handwriting is distinctly neat and well-kempt, the kind you could mistake for being printed or as a font, Nul's handwriting has been important in their schooling- they still don't know how to write in cursive as they left before Nul could thoroughly learn. Voice-wise, they have a high-pitched voice or a feminine voice; it's slightly raspy- most of the time, Nul's voice gets stifled from the mask- giving them the appearance of a less high-pitched voice overall.

BACKSTORY
Born in the up-and-coming industrial part of their hometown- Quite frequently, Nul would find themselves seemingly getting sick- the air was ideal for festering bacteria and ailments. Nul was unfortunate enough to have grown up in a low-income family- being the eldest of their sibling- often found finding other means of money, be it from stealing or selling their possessions.
They'd frequently sneak away and beg for money- or steal from unsuspecting victims just trying to make a living. Did they feel remorse for stealing? No, they'd justify their actions as a means for surviving in the world, or they told themselves that the victim was wealthy and they were distributing the money to the poor- quite rarely was the fantasy true. The majority of the time, Nul stole from other struggling people who were trying to feed themselves.
In their free time, Nul practiced magic- which later in their life it worked in their favour, though be the magic was very rudimentary and lusterless, being as they lacked the trade. By the time Nul was 17, they'd left their home only grabbing the bare minimum- one of which being a mask they'd bought years before to help filter air, decreasing the number of times they got sick- the item becoming iconic in their future outfit.
The way Nul joined the circus was very lacklustre- they happened to be in the right place at the right time, they happened to pickpocket the right person, and that person invited them to the circus for their skills with promises of riches and everything they've never had.
