About
Abandoned by his birth parents at age 6 after he contracted lycantropy, a dirty, scared and hungry Ryan was found by Ross in the forest, and with a bit of coaxing, took the young pup home and cleaned him up. At first there had been talk amongst Ross and his partners, Smiffy and Trott, of taking Ryan to an orphanage in a town near them, they didn't know where Ryan came from and didn't exactly see themselves as father material. But Ross, a werewolf himself, wanted to help Ryan, and didn't want to risk him falling foul to the same unpleasantness he himself had when he was young.
Ultimately, they were successful with this. Despite Ryan's rough start in life, he soon grows into a fairly normal little boy- aside from the whole werewolf thing at least. He's sweet and energetic, always looking to play, a puppy in human form as many have called him. He's friendly and chatty and very curious of the world around him. Though can be easily spooked by things, often taking to hiding behind his new dads legs if something scares him.
Ryan is lucky in that the strain of lycantropy he has is relatively tame, resulting in less danger to himself and others on a full moon. However, Ross' wolf is much more aggressive and quickly grows protective of Ryan, which countered that out quite quickly, and it's best to keep your distance. When the full moon rises, the pair head out into the forest surrounding their home together, and the wolves usually find their way back by sunrise.
His left eye was damaged after an injury, leaving it a little pale. His right eye is fine, but he can't see so well out of his left, so he wears glasses to help compensate for it. If he goes too long without wearing his glasses though he often ends up with a headache.
Family friends. These two young boys get along well enough, though they only usually see each other at big gatherings, their parents having known each other for a long time. They're the youngest of the large group of kids though, and despite the few years between them, they'll chat and play quite happily, even if they don't actually know each other that well beyond that.
