Lives in the community that Jean was born in. The two have a good relationship, and Jean occasionally travels back to visit her and share some of the stories and things she's gathered while gone.

Brief History
In the world that she lives in now, most of the continent has been destroyed; with the lack of human development and alterations to nature, it has become overrun by nature and wildlife. If someone were to walk down a cracking highway, one could see that there are some fenced off towns in various states of disrepair and population. Some areas are labeled as being a “Hellscape,” which are places that are barren, meaning there is no life, and there is little to no chance of life or people ever going back into and surviving those areas. Ghosts of towns. Unfortunately, because of how barren everything is and how desolate it has become, people who get lost in these places frequently end up becoming desperate and quite hostile.

Supplies are low and people have fought to survive, even if that means fighting for supplies, currency, and things that could make their hard lives just a little easier. This means theft and murder are popular modes of getting what they want. Habits that even the most pacifistic people had to take on in order to survive. People have to keep moving and frequently live a more nomadic lifestyle, something to keep themselves afloat and to survive.

Jean is one of these survivors of the unfortunate events of the continent. They have adapted to taking on odd jobs for the most powerful members of this desolate society, with payment upfront of course, and have become a pseudo-bounty hunter. This meant if they needed supplies in a pinch and a job opened up, they are not opposed to murder and theft for a large sum of resources.

They are one of the last remaining people who have a pacifist heart, where she will travel from town to town to speak to town leaders about getting things that their citizens need, or she would share her findings with other travelers, especially families and couples who are trying so hard to survive.

Personality
Demeanor: Charitable, Down to Earth, Vigilant, Perfectionist, Guarded, Assertive
Despite her looks, Jean has a warm, down to earth personality that could be considered rare in this day and age. It generally catches people off guard, before they actively seek her out. Like a moth to a flame. Jean’s name and her “legend” has been spread throughout North America. Most people wished to meet her and most people idolized her, whether Jean realized it or not. It was rare to see someone so charitable.

Though because of her much more warm personality, people tend to rely on her so much more. This does mean, those with unsavory thoughts and ill intentions, she keeps people at a distance. Which, despite her more charitable and down to earth demeanor, she does come off as guarded and assertive when people first meet her. This is just to weed out those who wanted to use her or wanted to harm others.

One more important thing - she is not opposed to killing (murder) or theft in exchange for the right price!

Other than all of this, she is both vigilant and a perfectionist. She is very proactive in everything that she does and makes sure to complete each and every task she is given with such finesse and perfection that she makes it seem effortless. When she is unable to finish a task up to her specifications and her expectations of herself, there is a bit of frustration that builds up within her.

Relationships
Even if she travels from one place to another, she isn’t someone that sticks around in a city for too long. This does mean most people who try to befriend her, she doesn’t keep friends for too long (aside from the fact of the environment they live in and placed in). Though when people meet her and when they finally befriend her, they will learn to love her somewhat dry sense of humor and they will get a loyal friend.

Additional Information
They are able to get by in the hellscape that they were thrown into, by gathering items, even with all of the items that they’ve gathered - they generally give all their resources to those who are less fortunate.

Because of the hostile environment that Jean has to endure and exist in, they often times do have shadows pass across their vision. After all, she never knows when someone may try to sneak up on her and attack her for her supplies or if it is just her eyes playing tricks on her. With every request she does, sometimes her eyes and ears will play tricks on her by making her see/hear things that are not actually there.

Even if she doesn’t look like it, she is quite buff. This is from her carrying around both a gun and a ton of ammunition around with her. Beneath that black trenchcoat of hers, she wears a red turtleneck to minimize any wounds that may happen and carries around belts of ammunition.

Beneath her mask, she has a heart shaped face and equally as sweet looking chocolate brown eyes.

Unfortunately, with all the odd jobs she takes on and traveling from place to place, her body has kept a record of all of these instances with scars.

Adding onto the odd jobs, they are not opposed to doing murder or theft in exchange for the right price.

Jean enjoys holding and touching soft textures, since in the desolate environment that they live in, it’s hard to come by and she enjoys feeling it against her scarred skin. Something that is a rarity.
