As many protect the world from below, Andromeda protects from above, both in the sky and in orbit above. With expert pilots and technicians to repair any vessel and machine within the base and its orbiting ships, their eyes scan both above and below for danger among the stars or within the earth itself. Calling those required into action should there be an attack from out there or a disaster on the planet's surface.

Background: Neva is Xera's younger sister (by 11 years), and both lived in a cramped apartment bordering on a slum district. While Xera at least had some vitality, Neva was always incredibly sickly and mostly stayed at home, in bed. Her life was very uneventful because of this. She never went to school, but studied what material her sister brought from the library. Neva, even more so than her Xera, proved to have an almost disgusting proficiency for mathematics and physics.

Due to her condition, Neva had to decline the offer that was given to her and her sister - a position at a nice, prestigious engineering college. She continued to study and occasionally help Xera with the material that the mismagius brought in, however. Once Xera hit the higher ranks, Neva and their mother were hospitalized at the Gaia compound. Unfortunately, the Mercia sisters' mother didn't last long.

Neva now had access to more material than ever before, being brought books and other sources of information from the Origin faction's library. She could even move around now that she had a wheelchair - the misdreavus' legs had given out, most of them were paralyzed.
At some point, Neva had been given the option to amputate and replace her legs with a cyborg pair - a decision that didn't come easy, but that she decided she would follow through with.

It took some adjusting to as Neva hadn't walked in several years, but now she can move around independent of everything but the amount of battery left in the bionic limbs. She decided to join Origin rather than Nega, motivating the choice with that she could build more than just weapons. And magic was never really Neva's schtick. Now she spends almost all her days in the Origin library, hunched over books and going over complex theorems, upgrading existing equipment anr more.

Legs run on a (rather long-lasting) battery.
Her legs have different add-ons for different occasions, with the standard one providing some protection and robustness.
