Not many are able to sit still long enough in this evolving world to learn its past, but those who do often find themselves within the origin faction, with the vast library under its care, this faction also holds the largest of the personal best suited for general fighting should the need arise, their intelligence rivaling the inventors within Nega in many scenarios allows them to create new gadgets as well as transportation for the planet. as well as being best equipped to defend the base from any attack.

Background: Shula grew up in a nondescript town somewhere in Hoenn. A lot of things about Shula were very regular, save for a healthy dose of bravery and fighting spirit. The young growlithe loved picking fights, especially with bullies as she proved to have a strong sense of justice (chalk it up to her moral parents). She'd beat down the oppressors, but when it came to actually making or keeping friends, Shula was inept. The girl didn't have a way with words, but almost everybody knew she was happiest when doing physical activity - running, martial arts, climbing.

Shortly after finishing high school, Shula had joined the local police force. Upkeep of order was something that was very appealing to the now-arcanine. She then became riot police, a S.W.A.T. unit, and finally, a soldier. At the Kingbre Defence Force, specifically. Throughout her work Shula had heard of the organization that did everything from disaster relief to research, although she was often too busy to apply until a friend in her unit did it for her. After that, the arcanine's life got interesting and decidedly traumatic.

It started with her own recklessness and a landmine. While resolving a local conflict, Shula had rushed into the field and stepped straight on a hidden explosive. It blew off her right leg and scorched her pretty well, despite her being a fire type. Shula acquired a bionic leg to continue her work. Next was her own recklessness and many gunshots, resulting in a lost arm that was replaced by a bionic one. With each incident, she grew more stoic, more obedient.

The first crash site put Shula out of commission for nearly an entire year. Despite her overall impressive ability to follow orders, the arcanine couldn't allow a teammate to die. Shula had ventured back to retrieve her colleague, which costed her the rest of her limbs and a damaged cranium. Her survival was a medical and technological miracle, as she had been (temporarily) fitted with a supercomputer to compensate for her failing brain.
Shula spent a few months adjusting to her new consciousness, and was given a decision. It stood between retirement, or, well... whatever plan she had. In a stroke of nihilism, or maybe pure, distilled madness, the arcanine asked to have all but her head turned into a machine.
The brand new and shiny 'super soldier' was just discharged and now trains frequently to get a hang of her new body.

She's like 95% machine. A quarter of her head is still organic.
Very strong! Very strong.
Her tail is mostly cosmetic, but she can flick it to reveal sharp spines to be used for attack.
Shula has panels on her face that can be taken off to reveal delicate facial machinery.
Her right eye can act like a camera with recording, taking pictures and creating a live feed. Right ear can be used as a loudspeaker and is also much more sensitive than her left (organic) ear.
Her arms can adjust to arcanine anatomy from human - this allows her to run on four legs. Her fingertips can also reform into claws.
Makes a slight vrrrrr noise when she moves. Might start sparking when under strain.
Needs to be charged every night, or every two if she avoids too much activity. Has ports in her back along her spine that allow electric cords to be plugged in.
Can no longer sleep or eat in the regular sense of the word, but she can go into 'sleep mode' like a computer and consume oil for internal machinery.

The right half of her brain is a compressed supercomputer. It's somewhat more powerful than her actual brain and can store digital files for translation into electrical impulses so the other half can register them. Yes, you can literally download knowledge into her and also take it out. (but that requires special authority)
