Representative of the emotion side of magic, she and Shisui were created by Ven and the Will of the 13th World in order to solve a certain problem. Bright and ready to take on the world head-first, she's a friendly girl who just wants to get along with other people.
On the naive side, she trusts Ven without questioning his intentions much. She often plays the fool just to make others laugh or lighten the mood, but she makes a conscious effort to be aware of how the people around her feel.
Although she doesn't remember her past life as Anholly, she shares the tendency to put on a cheerful smile even when suffering inside.

Seeing Shisui as a kindred spirit in the same boat as her, Melanie is quick to welcome him as a friend. She has no idea just why and how deep his loyalty runs for her.

The Magician who formulated Melanie and Shisui, Melanie mostly believes Ven when he says he's leaving them in charge on a journey to save the world. She feels that there's a distance between them, but figures that it'll close eventually.
Sol
Potential Friend...?
Melanie doesn't know why Sol treats her and just about everyone with disdain, but is convinced that they could still be friends if she prods him in the right direction a bit. Often letting the insulting things Sol says slide by, Melanie wants to help him if there's something really troubling him.
