Emlum is a spirit of the world who came to a town of ruled over by sky's bruised and broiling sky - a world of infinite storm.  His hands shined like sunlight, and his body was warm like a crisp campfire caught in the breeze.  He kept the plants alive, and the people prayed to him like a god, for that is what he was

That is, until a tragedy befell the town and most everyone was lost in its wake.  Out of desperation and grief, Emlum began to make tiny worlds of his own - snapshots of the world that was, is, and will be.  These worlds were memories of the world around him, and he could project these memories across the entire town, turning the weather and bringing the sun back to feed the plants and its people.  Emlum now uses these worlds to look into the past to see what caused the infinite storm so he can stop it, even if that means losing everyone he's doing this for
