   Nikolas is a merman that was born and raised in the city. He ended up growing up in a small apartment with his fathers after a long adoption process. While it wasn't the most financially safe life, he had a joyful life with what he has though sometimes envious of the luxuries seen within magazines. Because of this, he would often play pretend to be a movie star, with one of his fathers even playing along. When he got into high school, he immediately signed up for the Play Club. While he mainly got supporting roles, no one could deny how good he was... but also how loud he was. He ended up acting very extravagant while figuring out who he was and wanted to be. What helped around this time was the discovering of his merfolk heritage on a rainy day, in some way making his light ego a bit bigger. It wasn't until Junior Prom until he grasped what kind of person he was with a kiss from a dare. 

   After High School, Nikolas entered an acting college though one on the lesser expensive side, and even then only was able to go for 2 years before not having enough money. But while there, he made a good impression on his friends and colleagues, as he remained in contact with them well after college. After college, he mainly picked up a stable job at the local grocery store. It wasn't until one of his college friends offered him a job at a gay bar, and he took it very quickly. While he is working two jobs now, by day he works at the grocery store, by night he's a very extravagant man at the gay bar. It's a hard life but the joy he gets from it far exceeds the work.
