was in a house fire and passed out from the smoke 

before the flames reached her, her body froze itself and the ice spread to the rest of the room (effectively dousing the fire)

she hasn't learned to control it and every time it is activated she freezes herself

went blind after the first freeze, her eyes weren't able to defrost

always dressed warm (always cold)

favorite color is pink! hates winter
