It started with the show ring, the moment they saw the other there, they knew that they wanted to out-win them as best as they could and so, that was what happened, show after show, time after time and neither of them gave up. The persistence that at first was annoying, because it made their competition continue with no true "winner" soon became admiration since their rival never gave up and the skills that they had were incredible in the other's eyes, they learned to help one another and motivate each other through the shows. Some days one of them missed a show, the other missed them dearly, it was with that realization that they knew they were definitely more than rivals by this point, they became very close, perhaps close enough to be mates? Well, that option certainly can't be denied.
