as many protect the world from below, Andromeda protects from above, both in the sky and in orbit above. with expert pilots and technicians to repair any vessel and machine within the base and its orbiting ships, their eyes scan both above and below for danger among the stars or within the earth itself. calling those required into action should there be an attack from out there or a disaster on the planet's surface.

Background: It's tough being a god. It's tougher being a demigod. People assume things, ask you for help, yadda yadda. Sometimes Yaron helped. Mostly, he didn't. In any case, he wasn't always a terribly rude hybrid.
In his adolescence, Yaron was actually quite nice. Mostly to his parents - and Yveltal and an absol (strange match indeed) - but other than that, not really. He was often a loner, no friends and no desire to interact with others either. Yaron grew up a recluse, mostly by choice. The part that wasn't by choice was his (un)fortunate match of species - the literal grim reaper and a pokémon heralding disaster.

Sometime around 15, the hybrid was put on permanent house arrest. He was causing too much trouble. Yaron's powers required a lot of self-control (which he didn't have), and on top of it he had some serious anger issues. A disaster on legs, if you will. So, he was put on lockdown by his parents. Needless to say being locked up with several magic seals and the like didn't do wonders for the teenager. Yaron spent most of his time reading books and sleeping. It made him restless.

Years passed. The disaster hit Hoenn, and Yaron was there to see it. He was never released from his arrest - rather he just escaped and cocooned up somewhere deep under the earth to wait a year or two before re-emerging. These years up until now were eventful for Yaron, although that doesn't necessarily mean they were good. After no less than four months after his awakening, the hybrid left for Hoenn with trust issues and a vow to never open his heart to somebody again.

At the disaster site, Yaron was itching for a fight. After so many years of nothing, it was time. He tore through the abominations and the shipwreck - never mind the missiles raining down from friendly aerial units. He didn't really care that much. At least not at the time. He should've, as during his little rampage he was almost knocked out by one.

Bringing Yaron to a hospital wasn't necessary as he just leeched off of the life force of surrounding abominations. In any case, he soon left the scene and didn't leave a trace. Some time later, he had found out - or was contacted (he doesn't remember) by an organization known as the KDF. They wanted to conscript Yaron as a soldier. He declined, but still arrived to the compound and took up the job of a bartender. Partially because Yaron knew he'd get tired of constant fighting, and also because he hoped the job would improve his social skills. That, we'll find out.
