I will sometimes think of Birch as living a version of my life where I'm not confined to the limitations of my reality (such as monetary, travel, etc) and can thus just be and live wherever I think feels right for them. All the same, I might just draw them filling in for me in my day-to-day reality, because at the end of the day, they're supposed to be a stand-in for me above all else.
Other times, I just go absolutely buckwild with them and think up complete fantasy bullshit for them to get up to. This could be... erm... adult exploration that can only exist in fantasy, or it could be completely innocuous. My favourite is thinking of them in a moody synthwave-aesthetic based scifi setting.
