Profile
Hod was born in orbit around the star HD113538. He grew up working odd jobs on small ships, until he'd finally earnt enough to buy his own ship. En route to the drydock, the section of space-station he was in was struck by a meteorite and Hod was mortally wounded. Hod was recovered, barely alive, and his brain was put into a cyborg body built inside a hard-suit (a mechanically-assisted armoured space suit). Unfortunately for Hod, he was billed for the operation and not only lost all the money he'd saved for a ship, but was sent some way into debt. Life's a bitch, sometimes.
Hod is about 6'5", with a white-painted metal exo-skeleton. He keeps most of his power systems and tools in his torso and abdomen, but the necessary life-support is held entirely in the helmet, which is capable of communicating remotely with his body. As such, Hod can comfortably remove his head and keep his body moving. He communicates with a voice synthesiser in his helmet and a faceplate with a full-colour LED display.
