Danine Priena

She is like mom friend™ and like the best mom ever honestly. She sings opera and I was about to list more of her interests but tbh I don't know if she had any others. I'll add them later if she does lmao.

She's best friends and basically caretaker of Quidat right now. They both met when they were rather younger and got along really well. She was SUPER supportive when Quidat wanted to transition after coming out and was there for her too when some huge accident or something that I still have yet to decide kills her lusus and causes a traumatic brain injury to Quidat. She then spends most of her time on land watching over Quidat since she doesn't have a lusus anymore and is in need of someone to take care of her after the brain damage. So with both the transition and the brain damage its almost as if Quidat became a different person than what she used to be but Danine has loved her just as much through it all so like shout out to her for literally being the best??

Once she meets Dee too she threatens to take that darn child because Dee is currently living in a household where her guardian is taking her transition the exact opposite of how Danine did. At least they get to a point where Dee is at least able to come over and be herself for a while. Danine loves her just as much as she does Quidat and considers both of them her kids honestly
