A fire sorcerer. He's a villain but he specifically targets royalty so it's okay.
The shady "king's advisor" in a generic fantasy story that skulks around whispering bad advice to him. And then everybody is surprised when he turns out to be evil.
He loves dragons more than people. Like an evil horse girl.
Thistle is his dragon familiar that likes to perch on his shoulders and bite things.
Often has scratches from Thistle using them as a climbing tree.
Bad at making (human) friends- is such a little snake he assumes the same of other people and finds it hard to trust them.
Is physically stronger than he looks/acts; has some muscle tone under his oversized wizard robes. He gets a daily workout from taking dragons on walks. If he is ever without mana or sword, his backup strategy is to punch his opponent really hard in the stomach.
Despite choosing to live in cold dark castles and bragging about how evil and powerful and epic he is, he is irrationally scared of centipedes/spiders and will try and fail to coax Thistle into eating them when he sees them. It is not a very dignified display.
Impressively monotone, soft-spoken and straight-faced no matter the emotion he's feeling.
Hair is naturally frizzy, it gets straightened with fire magic
Design Notes:
- missing their left arm, just below the shoulder
- freckles
- no eyebrows, so always looks a bit surprised. But he is wearing makeup so you can probably pencil some on if you want
- the dress and makeup can be glittery. so that when they use fire magic it catches the light :)
- the armour is black. I shade it with green but anything works really
