Backstory: (Pre Warning, it gets pretty dark) Meli's parents were con artist, she would move from town to town constantly, the only real company she ever had was her dolls. Her parents were usually very busy so she spent most of her time by herself. As her parents barely watched after her, around the age of 9  Meli was kidnapped, where she was held in a basement for two years and was sexually abused. She only managed to break free from her captor by attacking him (choking him) . To this day she thinks that she killed him but in actuality she only choked him until he was unconscious. After her escape her parents were long gone, an officer found her on the street and she was put into the foster system. At age 12 she was adopted by doll maker as he saw that she already had an extreme talent for it. She quickly surpassed him in skill and begun to help him makes dolls for his shop. The shop quickly became famous due to her talent.

Trivia

- She makes her own clothes since she's quite good due to the all the doll clothes she sews.

- She's extremely scared of the dark.

-She has told no one about her past before entering the foster system.

Time at Hope's Peak: Mostly kept to herself, didn't have many friends, anyone who tried to approach her probably got the cold shoulder

In the Case of School Killing Scenario: She's the type who would plan to kill from the beginning but she wouldn't act on it until a while later, if at all. She would probably wait for the numbers to really thin down to the point that she might even make it to the end if not killed before hand.
