Early Life
As a kit Dovekit was very quiet, spent most of her time staying tucked away in the shadows and observing others interact. She would practice mimicking their expressions and tones of voice. Otherwise, she spent her time roughousing with her brother, Redkit, dodging their parents, and watching the fresh-kill pile. She began developing an acute fascination with death, which culminated in her taking her own father's life the night before recieving her apprentice name. She got away without ever being suspected, and her fascination only grew.
Young Life
As an apprentice Dovepaw remained unremarkable. She had a difficult time connecting with others, but did end up getting along well with a fellow apprentice, Grasspaw. Her disinterest in her mentor's lessons and developing insomnia led her to growing restless and bored. She began wandering out and pushing her luck with venturing into other clan territories. Obviously, she got in trouble because she came back with the scent of another territory.
She then spent her nights testing different ways to cover her scent, before continuing to prod into other territories and establish her own secret routes and mental maps. But soon, she'd explored everything there was to explore, and grew bored again. She started ambushing cats on patrol and killing them. When she got away with that, she began killing sleeping cats in their own camps. She has yet to be caught.
