King Xandarius

King on a planet that has been split completely in half by a huge disaster. He rules half the planet, while another king rules the other. The two sides are constantly either at war or broiling under with conflict. 

Due to the way the planet split, Xandarius's half is always hot and underprivileged, with little resources to call its own. Xandarius keeps his people afloat by resorting to less-than-legal activities, like hiring pirates to sell stolen resources in return for hidden refuge from the law. 

His personality is very sarcastic and aloof. He has adapted to the harsh environment and harsh people that come with it. He has perfected the art of being a trickster, always seeming to have a card up his sleeve and his true intentions hidden away. Despite everything, those closest to him know that he truly, deeply cares about his people more than anything. He often goes without food or luxuries so his people can have more, and only employs such a great palace staff so they can have an income. 

While not in any kind of formal relationship, he has taken a liking to the pirate [Starship], and they sleep together any time that he's on-planet for a job. Xandarius makes sure he has jobs there regularly.
