Beyren

Beyren is an Eladrin Ardent, who in theory ought to be very charming and charismatic but in reality more seems to make the worst possible decisions based on a stubborn and prideful personality. Ardents are sort of like the D&D (4e) version of the empath. Bey is an Impetuous Ardent, which means he has a temper and his best skills kick in at half health, and he can heal people. He has a twin brother - Kenjiro - who is a telepath Psion.  They are used to talking silently, which is to say Kenjiro patiently listens to his brother's scathing diatribes and sometimes is able to stop him from doing something Really Stupid.  At age 45, the twins are the elven equivalent of 17 or 18 year olds, which means they are simultaneously some of the chronologically oldest yet mentally youngest members of their main adventuring party.
