PLOT
Elpis, born on the planet Mu Arae B, was a really sweet and innocent girl full of hope. It was this hope that lead to her earning her planets star crystal at the young age of 14. She fought alongside another female senshi from her planetary system known as Alke as they defending their system from various trivial foes
It wasn't until a mass genocide was committed upon her people by a group of dark senshi determined on taking over the universe that they realised how weak they truly were. She was 18 at this point.
Just after the attack she ended up losing all of her hope and innocence when she realised that she had to find a way to protect everyone else's hopes and dreams and stop these villains from harming others. She pretty much sacrificed the old her to make a newer and stronger person who, unknown to her, was actually quite broken on the inside.
Shortly after this she started comparing herself to what she was fighting and seeing the similarities between them and herself, believing that she was the same as them and that she was a demon and that she understood everything they were feeling. During this time her senshi form darkened, the colours becoming the negative of what they were as she doubted herself
In the end she realised that she isn't going to be able to defeat her enemies when she was so broken and started fighting for herself as well as others, trying to regain the hope and innocence that she lost to blend it with her newer form, making herself much stronger and capable of fighting. Now, at age 21, she is still searching for the last dark senshi to seal her away into a turquoise vase, and she has acquired two more guardians from her system, Pan and Atlas, two males.
